Hello Raymond,
You need to click on the 'unsubscribe' link at the end of the email.
Hello, I really appreciate your site for the information and reports it contains.
I travel to Thailand and Asia, especially from December to March.
I wanted to use your site on my mobile when I'm on vacation, but I'm asked to re-register although I'm already registered on your site with my computer!
Can you do what's necessary to avoid this?
For your information, I wanted to let you know that I had a problem with a refund for our return flights with Thai Airways.
We had to cancel our AR flights due to my wife's health issue!
It seems that Thai Airways never refunds its passengers, and as a result, our travel agent did not want to refund our return tickets with Thai.
I made use of our Visa Premier travel insurance, but we are still not refunded for the moment!
I am writing to you to know if you find this policy of Thai Airways normal?
Best regards
Hello Jean-Paul,
For registration, are you talking about push notifications?
Just refuse to register and normally the notification disappears.
Yes, indeed, Thai Airways causes refund problems, many readers have reported having trouble getting their tickets refunded after Thailand closed during the pandemic.
I think we need to insist.
I've been an expat for over 40 years and your site is really interesting.
Keep us informed, you're important to all of us.
It's the most comprehensive site on Thailand.
Thanks Jerome.
I would like to subscribe to your site's news by email, please.
How to do it?
Hello Roth,
You need to go to an article page, like this one:
Using the wrong sunscreen can cost you very dearly in Thailand
At the bottom of the article, there is the possibility to subscribe to the newsletter that is sent once a week.
The video ads that pop up every 10 seconds are unbearable, please remove them!
Hello Julien,
We removed the video advertisement, which was indeed unbearable for many visitors.
JULIEN, hello…
Yes, unfortunately, they are a necessary evil, but personally, they don't bother me, because when I go beyond and scroll down with the mouse on the rest of the text, the ad doesn't open, in any case on my PC…
At the level of a Smartphone or an IPhone, the opening automatisms can be removed via the phone settings or an ad blocking software (not always accepted by the sites!)
But it's true that it annoys, because to escape it, you have to be as repetitive as they are to avoid them…
Here too, these are automatisms to adopt on our part to press the right keys to remove these ads as soon as they appear…
This invasion of our information and conviviality space is not worth a nervous breakdown and chronic stress reactions…
Advertising is like a disease… it must be fought with the appropriate medicine…
In this case, the medicine is called indifference and hit "delete » !
