Pattaya International Fireworks Festival

The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival will take place on November 25th and 26th on Pattaya Beach, an event not to be missed if you are in Thailand.

Pattaya Mayor Poramase Ngampiches, the festival will feature more than 600 street stalls selling all kinds of items.

Pyrotechnic teams from Belgium, Canada, Malaysia and the Philippines will be present.

The mayor believes the festival will definitely boost the economy, as almost all rooms in Pattaya, especially those on the beachfront, have been booked.

Admission is free, and no fewer than 100,000 spectators are expected in the city!

Beach Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from around 5 p.m. on both days of the festival, and significant delays are expected in the town.

If estimates are true, the festival will be the largest event in Pattaya since pre-Covid times.

The festival took place in 2020 and 2021, but fewer people were able to attend due to Covid-19 restrictions.

But now Pattaya city officials expect the festival to return in full force.

Festival organizers say they plan to go all out this year with concerts and cultural activities, among other things.

Last March, the International Association of Festivals and Events Asia named the festival one of the three "leading maritime tourism festivals in Asia."

Pattaya City Director said on November 17 that nearly 20 countries participated in the international fireworks competition.

The festival was originally held to celebrate the reign of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej .

The mayor said that Pattaya City will continue to improve the festival, as well as other events in Pattaya, so that they can also receive this honor next year.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand describes it as one of "Pattaya's most spectacular and exciting events."

After Thailand's long slump, the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is once again attracting tourists.
