On this day, His Majesty the King of Thailand gives advice to children while the Supreme Patriarch of Buddhism in Thailand gives moral teaching.

In addition, the Prime Minister usually assigns each children's party a theme and slogan.

This year, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra's slogan is:

“Every opportunity is a learning opportunity, ready to adapt to the future you have chosen.”

She gave her blessing to the children, saying:

“We sometimes think that we are small human beings and that we cannot do much.

But what the government sees is the value and quality of each child.

Because what the future holds, whether Thailand is a good place to live or not, depends on the children.

Many opportunities will arise.

We must take advantage of all the opportunities available to us.

No matter the group, no matter the age, we can learn all the time.

By learning, we will know that we can adapt to what comes our way, that we can control ourselves.

Our future holds many good things for us.”
