The Department of Rural Roads (DRR) will illuminate seven bridges crossing the Chao Phraya River from June 2 to 4, 2025, in honor of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana's birthday on June 3.
This illumination is a gesture of loyalty and gratitude to Her Majesty's benevolent reign.

The Maha Jesada Bodindra Bridge will shine brightly during the royal celebrations, which will take place from June 2 to 4.

- Krung Thon Bridge (Sang Hi)
- Memorial Bridge
- Phra Pok Klao Bridge
- Great King Taksin Bridge
- Bhumibol Bridge 1
- Bhumibol Bridge 2
The lights will be on from 7pm to 10pm on June 2 and 3, and from 7pm to midnight on June 3, the Queen's birthday.
An initiative to enhance the river and boost tourism

The initiative aims to create a festive atmosphere and highlight the beauty of the Chao Phraya River at night, the department said.
It will also promote tourism along the river, offering the public the opportunity to take boat rides and enjoy the magnificent view, illuminated by the lights of the bridges, while discovering the local culture and way of life along the banks.
