A wanted French national thought he could escape police by traveling to Thailand, but was arrested as soon as he arrived in the country.
Thailand no longer seems to be the paradise where criminals from all countries could hide while enjoying the beaches and nightlife.
Welcomed by a committee of police officers

The French fugitive was arrested in the international arrivals hall of Phuket Airport on April 24, 2025.
The 31-year-old Frenchman was arrested at Phuket International Airport in the international arrivals hall at 7:40 a.m. on April 24.
The operation was led by the Phuket Immigration Checkpoint Police Commissioner, with support from a joint team of immigration investigators from Phuket Airport and officers from Patong Police Station.
The suspect was wanted on an arrest warrant for using force to harm another person without causing physical or mental harm, a charge that, while not involving injury, is still classified as an assault-related offense.
Police did not reveal where or when the initial offense was committed, but confirmed the warrant was issued before he attempted to return to Thailand.

Immigration officials flagged the man upon arrival, prompting the coordinated arrest at the airport.
Once taken into custody, the French national was immediately transferred to the Patong police station in Phuket to undergo legal proceedings.
"This arrest highlights the effectiveness of Thailand's border control systems and the collaboration between immigration officers and local police," said an immigration officer at the scene.
The authorities reaffirmed their commitment to enforcing the law and ensuring public safety.
The Frenchman has not made any statement and his full identity has not been disclosed.

An impressive capture!
Honestly, the guy apparently threatened someone (an untouchable person perhaps?) and got arrested at the airport for it!?
Seriously, it's just talk.
The person who threw it must have a good power to cause harm in France.
