Travelers can now benefit from AI assistance to plan their itineraries and discover the best places to visit in Thailand.
The government has launched the "Amazing Thailand 365 Days" campaign, which aims to use digital platforms to promote domestic tourism throughout the year.
On Saturday, August 10, government spokesperson Chai Wacharonke stated:
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Line Co Ltd have launched the 'Amazing Thailand 365 Days' project, which uses generative AI to help tourists plan their itineraries.
Tourists can visit the website amazingthailand365 to use an AI-powered itinerary planning system.

They will also be able to find information on tourist attractions, festivals and events throughout the country", he said.
The government is following tourism trends

Airbnb data on tourism trends in Thailand suggests that tourists are choosing to visit less popular provinces in addition to those they have always wanted to see.

This trend is in line with the policy of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin aimed at stimulating tourism in relatively less known places as well as in popular big cities like Phuket and Chiang Mai« , he added.
Citing Airbnb's findings, Mr. Chai said that the three most popular provinces among tourists at the moment are:
- Mae Hong Son, whose city of Pai is appreciated for its landscapes, rich culture and outdoor activities for tourists;
- Trang, which has 46 beautiful islands, particularly Koh Kradan, which was ranked as the best beach in the world by the World Beach Guide last year;
- Ayutthaya
Accommodation searches in Mae Hong Son and Trang have increased by 149% and 143% respectively year on year.
Other provinces are gaining popularity, including Satun, Phetchaburi, Narathiwat, Rayong, Kalasin, Buri Ram, and Songkhla.
"The Prime Minister has been able to follow tourism trends and boost Thai tourism.
Digital technology is another tool that can provide convenience and promote tourism in a modern way" added Mr. Chai.

Another nonsense… from the TAT.
It is necessary to apply for the Guinness Book.
Amazing is written in Thai.
Is there an English version of the site « amazingthailand365 »?
On its homepage, I don't see any indication to switch from the Thai version to an English version…
Either there's something I'm missing, or the Tourism Office has done a great job of attracting foreign tourists, but I'll still go with the first hypothesis ???
Indeed, I hadn't checked the site while working on the article, but it's all in Thai.
Hopefully, an English version is in the works, otherwise, yes, an article for nothing.
I propose that brilliant Thai IT engineers design an AI to help ministers make good decisions, or better, for the AI to write the laws, which the ministers would then only have to present for the King's signature…
It would prevent them (maybe) from laying down decrees and laws one day and their opposite a few weeks or months later…
Thai politics is like Durian: when you want to taste it, it stinks… but many Thais empty their pockets to eat it anyway!!!
