Panic on flight between Taiwan and Thailand: passenger goes crazy

An incident occurred on board Thai Airways flight TG637 when a Thai man tried to open the plane door mid-flight.

Fortunately, passengers sprang into action and restrained the man until the plane landed safely at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The alarming event was filmed and shared on Thursday, December 19, by TikTok user @yao1926.new, who described the frightening experience.

“I've been flying for over ten years, and this is the first time I've seen anything like this.

It was terrifying, but thankfully everyone is safe thanks to the heroes who helped bring the situation under control."

According to the message, the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs, which caused him to become erratic and attempt to open the emergency door.

Passengers reacted quickly and restrained him in his seat using makeshift restraints.

Once the plane landed in Bangkok, airport security and police boarded the plane to take the man into custody.

In the video, the restrained man is seen asking the officials:

“Where are we now?”

After being informed that the plane had landed in Thailand, he said:

"The drug is no longer in my system."

The incident raised concerns about flight safety and the need for passengers and crew to be vigilant.

Thai Airways has not yet made a statement on this matter.

The TikTok user thanked the brave people who intervened to prevent a potential disaster and ensured the flight's safe arrival.
