At 11 p.m. on June 9, authorities arrested two men: Paisal, 40, and Kitti, 38, in an abandoned building at the entrance to Chaiyapruek 2 Alley in Pattaya.

The two men were taken into custody with the seized drugs for questioning at the Pattaya police station.

During interrogation, Paisal confessed to the assault.

He claimed to have gone into nearby bushes to urinate, leaving his two-year-old daughter in his sidecar.

According to him, upon his return, "the stranger was touching his child inappropriately."

Paisal said he shouted at the stranger, then hit him on the head with a piece of wood before stealing a ring and a bag, which did not contain any valuables.

He fled immediately after the attack.

Further investigation revealed that Paisal had an extensive criminal record, with six previous arrests, including four for drug-related matters and two for theft.

He is now charged with assault, drug possession and theft.
