The grand celebration, held at 10 a.m. on March 13, was led by Ularika Kongprom, deputy director of the zoo, and brought together executives, staff members, and visiting students eager to take part in the festivities.

The event aimed to honor Thailand's national symbol while raising public awareness about elephant conservation.

Pang Nat was joined by two other elephants, Pang Janphen and Pang Jim, who enjoyed a huge cake buffet of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Excited visitors had the opportunity to feed the elephants and take pictures with these gentle giants, creating unforgettable memories.

In addition to the feast, the zoo hosted exhibits showcasing the history of Thai Elephant Day and the incredible abilities of these majestic creatures.

Ularika stressed that the initiative aimed to encourage Thais to cherish and protect the country's elephants, to ensure their survival for generations to come.

At the Royal Elephant Village in Ayutthaya, activities included giving alms to Buddhist monks and a grand feast, where many giant elephants enjoyed an assortment of fruits and vegetables.

The celebration highlights the deep cultural and historical connection between Thai people and elephants.
