A fight turns ugly at a party in Phuket

CCTV footage taken inside the Cherngtalay nightclub in Phuket's Kathu district shows the confrontation between foreign tourists moments before the Frenchman was stabbed outside the establishment on May 11, 2025.
A party in Cherngtalay, Thalang district, Phuket , turned into a scene of horror in the early hours of Sunday, May 11.
A 29-year-old French tourist, identified as "Nubel," was stabbed three times.
The perpetrators were allegedly involved in a fight inside the bar before heading outside, where approximately four English-speaking foreign men assaulted the victim.
One of the attackers pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim before all the suspects fled the scene in a gray Mazda 2.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and provided emergency first aid before transporting the bleeding victim to Thalang Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police later found a black iPhone at the scene, believed to belong to one of the perpetrators.
Examination of the SIM card revealed that the phone belonged to Mr. Emilio, a British national whose face matched the description of witnesses.
Immigration records confirm that Emilio left Thailand hours after the attack, boarding a flight at 6:49 p.m. the same day.
Police are trying to identify his alleged accomplice, who is believed to be from the Middle East.
An appeal for witnesses has been launched.
A large-scale manhunt is currently underway, with Cherngtalay police coordinating efforts with Interpol and border authorities to track down the two suspects.

This is what happens when you let criminals from all over the world come and launder their money in Phuket.
Yet another dramatic incident, as is unfortunately happening more and more often in Thai tourist spots, largely the consequence and as is very often the case in these circumstances of altercations between particularly irascible people, having consumed alcoholic drinks and/or drugs, possibly linked to disturbing encounters with the prostitution world and who come to violence over which they no longer control the effects.
But this kind of news story also happens here, in Europe, every weekend, all over France and around the world...
The facts regularly highlighted and reported by the Thai press have a particular impact, because they highlight the behavior of tourists in a special context of vacation spots where everything should go perfectly... we are far from the mark!!!
When mass tourism faces reality...
Thailand is not for everyone!
