A Swiss expat was beaten and his car vandalized by a group of Thai teenagers in Pattaya on Sunday, December 15.
Still in shock, Mr. Kamai, 66, burst into tears as he filed a complaint at the police station in the seaside resort of Pattaya on Sunday evening after being brutally and gratuitously attacked by a group of teenagers.

The victim presented to the station at 11:30 p.m. with visible facial injuries, including a swollen left eye, head injuries, and multiple abrasions.
According to Mr. Kamai's statement, translated using a language app, the incident occurred on South Pattaya Road, near a local school.
After finishing his meal, he returned to his parked car to find 4 to 6 teenagers surrounding him.
The group began smashing the windows of his Toyota Vios with stones.

The damaged car has smashed front and rear windows.
When he tried to intervene, two assailants attacked him and knocked him to the ground.
Despite his pleas for mercy, the teenagers continued to kick and hit him until bystanders broke up the attack, causing the group to flee.
One wonders what would have happened if passers-by had not intervened; perhaps the worst was avoided.
Police Lieutenant Sutheeraphan Thapsri assessed the victim's injuries and examined the damaged vehicle, which had smashed front and rear windows.
Investigators were dispatched to the scene to review CCTV footage and take witness statements.
A police radio alert was issued with a description of the suspects, but no arrests have yet been made.

It is not known whether the police were able to arrest those responsible; it is possible that it was the same group.
Pattaya police must act quickly to arrest those responsible, as the image of the famous seaside resort is regularly tarnished, particularly by thefts by ladyboy pickpockets.

They could be children of police officers, which would explain why they have not yet been arrested.
There are so many stories of crimes committed by cop kids protected by their parents.
And they only attack old, weak, easy-to-attack foreigners...
The police love to take photos (see front page)... which will be of no use... for anything!
Smile anyway.
And since they are not responsible for anything, they will have nothing, like in France, it is a pony ride, in Thailand, it is an elephant ride.
Poor world.
Since I often go out alone, I'd better be careful or equip myself.
For some time now, Thailand and some tourist towns have become dangerous, which is why I always have something on me to defend myself in case of emergency, you never know.
