Mr. Glennon, who is physically disabled and travels in a wheelchair, told police that he had invited two Thai women and a trans woman to the hotel after meeting them on Pattaya beach on July 15.
Suffering from loneliness, the 61-year-old British man admitted to having paid for their company in the hope of having a quiet night.
But once back in his hotel room in downtown Pattaya, things took a different turn than expected.
Glennon stated that he had gone to take a shower while the trio waited in the room.
But when he came out, they had disappeared, along with his money.
Around 6,000 baht (158 euros) in various currencies had disappeared, leaving the vacationer stunned and helpless.
He reported the theft to the Pattaya police station at 00:16.
The police have leads

Deputy investigator Aniruj Jeahora confirmed that the officers were examining CCTV footage of the area and working with the hotel reception, which had taken a copy of one of the suspects' ID cards.
Unless the card is fake, the suspect may have had no choice but to flee after the theft committed by her colleagues.
The Pattaya News newspaper reported that the police had leads and were working to find the trio, who are now the subject of prosecution under Thai law.
Glennon is recovering from his ordeal and cooperating with investigators.
Although prostitution is officially prohibited in Thailand, this kind of incident is common in the Pattaya beach resort, which is sometimes referred to as the world's sex capital.

“admitted to having paid for their company in the hope of having a quiet night”.
The translator misunderstood, because with 3 prostitutes, the night would have been anything but quiet 🙂
Well, another fool who leaves all his belongings within reach, what can be said…
And for one who reports, how many others remain silent.
As for the identity card, normally, it is mandatory for all visitors to deposit or show it at the reception.
Suffering from loneliness…
The ... they dare to do anything.
That's even how one recognizes them.
