A cyclops puppy, named Kevin because of his resemblance to the Minions character, was born on February 2 in Chachoengsao, central Thailand.
Two days after birth, the puppy is healthy and is bottle-fed every day by its owners.
Kevin is considered a lucky pet by his Thai owners, but a veterinarian has warned that due to his unusual health condition, he may not have a particularly long life expectancy.
Cyclopia is a very rare congenital problem in which the fetus does not develop two separate orbits (the sockets in which the eyeballs are located).
Cyclopean animals often have abnormal lips, noses, and nasal cavities.
Unfortunately, it is rare for these animals to survive long after birth, as the brain is usually also affected.
Kevin's owner, Somjai Phummaman, said he was preparing when he noticed his dog, Aspin, had given birth to two puppies on his bedroom floor.
The official placed the puppies in a box before examining them and noticing Kevin's unusual appearance.
"We hope the puppy survives despite its malformation.
We want to keep him as a pet until he grows up.
Everyone was amazed by him and said it was a happy sign.
People said he looked like the yellow cartoon character with one eye, so we gave him that nickname."

Kevin, a character from the Minions
After the announcement of Kevin's birth, residents of Somjai village flocked to his house to see the puppy, which was celebrated as a happy omen.
Some villagers even played the lottery with the numbers of the day he was born.
Somjai's daughter said the family was thrilled to have a puppy with physical abnormalities.
'We have taken care of the puppy until now.
He can't breastfeed properly, so we have to hand-feed him with a bottle of milk."
It is currently unknown whether Kevin's single eye is functioning properly, as it can take up to two months for a dog's sight to fully develop.
It is hoped that the little dog will defy adversity and live a long and happy life.
