Krung Thep Aphiwat (formerly known as Bang Sue Grand Station) is Bangkok's central railway station, replacing Hua Lamphong Station.

Train services from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal
From 19 January 2023, all 52 long-distance rapid, express and special express train services in Thailand will depart from or arrive at Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal.
A small number of long-distance train services and regular train services still depart from and arrive at Hua Lamphong Station.
However, for long-distance train travel, you will almost always need to go to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal to board your train rather than Hua Lamphong Station.

Currently, 8 platforms are used for long-distance train travel at Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal:
Northern Line (Bangkok – Chiang Mai)
Departures: Platforms 1 and 2
Arrivals: Platforms 5 and 6
Northeast Line (Bangkok to Nong Khai and Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani)
Departures: Platforms 1 and 2
Arrivals: Platforms 5 and 6
Southern Line (Bangkok to Malaysia via Hua Hin, Chumphon and Surat Thani)
Departures: Platforms 7 and 8
Arrivals: Platforms 11 & 12
How to get to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal
Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Station is close to Bangkok Interprovincial Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2).
Metro

1. SRT Red Line Metro in Bangkok, Bang Sue Station.
2. From Don Mueang Airport: Go to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal by SRT Red Line.
You can take the train from Don Mueang Station.
The journey takes approximately 25 minutes.
3. MRT Blue Line, go to Bang Sue Station.
Bus
Bus to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Station.
Bus numbers: A1, 3, 16, 26, 49, 67, 77, 97, 134, 136, 138, 145, 204, 509, 517, 536.
