Thailand: Snake bites testicles while he sits on toilet

A Thai man had a terrible experience when a python hiding in his toilet sank its fangs into his testicles.

This kind of incident is rare, but not unique in Thailand; two similar stories have already been reported, both related to pythons .

The first tells the story of a Thai man who had his genitals grabbed by the jaws of a snake while he sat down to relieve himself.

The second describes the horrific scene of a woman who had to fight off a huge python that emerged from her toilet to save her life.

Nightmare in the toilet in Thailand

After a fierce struggle, the python was finally subdued and killed.

The latest incident occurred at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 19, in the second-floor toilet of a house in Samut Prakan province, central Thailand.

Unsuspecting 35-year-old Thanat Tangtewanon went to relieve himself, according to his now-viral Facebook post.

Living in Thailand during the rainy season means encountering all sorts of creepy crawlies, but nothing could have prepared him for what happened that morning.

As part of his usual routine, he flushed the toilet beforehand to make sure it was safe.

Despite this precaution, as soon as he sat down, he felt a sharp, excruciating pain in his most sensitive area.

Panicked, he bent down and, to his horror, discovered a large python clinging to his testicles.

Under the influence of adrenaline, the man instinctively grabbed the snake by the neck and pulled it out.

"At that moment, I didn't feel pain, but rather a shock."

However, the struggle was far from over.

The snake, which stubbornly clung to the toilet bowl, resisted the man's attempts to remove it.

Desperate, the man spotted a toilet brush and began to hit the snake relentlessly, out of a mixture of shock and fury.

"I hit him without stopping."

The man noted that his hand took a big beating during the operation, although he felt no pain at the time.

Eventually the python stopped moving and he was able to pull it out of the toilet and drop it onto the floor.

The ordeal was not over yet, as he was bleeding heavily and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Fortunately, the snake was not venomous and doctors assured him that his testicles would fully recover.
