The Thai government has announced that some festivals, celebrations and entertainment will be allowed to continue as normal after the month of mourning ends on November 14.
List of festivals, celebrations and entertainment activities that can resume from November 14:
– National holidays such as Loy Krathong which will take place from November 14 to 16 and is one of the most beautiful Buddhist festivals in the country.
– Christmas , New Year and Chinese New Year .
– Provincial festivals such as the Red Cross Fair , the Phi Ta Khone festival (Loei province ghost festival).
– Economic and sports promotion activities at the provincial level such as street parades and festivals , sports competitions.
– Entertainment activities such as music festivals , film competitions and , concerts .
– Nightlife venues such as nightclubs , pubs and bars .
– Activities in hotels such as conferences and meetings .
– Religious and traditional cultural activities such as weddings and ordinations .
